概要:
Most of the class will be conducted in English. The objective of this class is to learn how to use authentic material, especially tv dramas to improve listening, and vocabulary skills. We will focus on the TV drama “The Good Place” and learn how to use ICT to make it an effective educational tool.
授業の進め方・方法:
We will not need a textbook, but students will have to take organized notes, write summaries and reports as homework. The in-class work will be divided in three parts: 1. watch 2 episodes while taking notes, 2. write a short report for each episode, 3. discuss in English with your partner. We will try to learn new words and expressions each time. The test will be based on classwork/report submission along with a one-on-one interview in my office.

1. The content is fun but...

3. Students will be free to use PCs, electronic dictionaries, and tablets but no cellphones
