Teaching Method

Outline:
Statistical methods are often used in experiments and research in mechanical engineering. Therefore, it is necessary to deepen the knowledge of statistics and to know how samples and populations are related. In particular, this subject covers the review of the foundation of statistics to the interval estimate and statistical hypothesis testing of a population mean, dispersion and proportion, and regression analysis.
Style:
Lecture and exercise
Notice:
Learning from both theory and practice through classes using textbooks and exercises and from information processing laboratory personal computers (Microsoft Excel).
