Course Objectives
This lecture aims to master the concept and foundational knowledge of the metallurgical process in which steel, non-ferrous metal, and engineering ceramics are manufactured from materials, in studying the concept of a material life called manufacture, use, and reuse of material.
Rubric
| Ideal Level of Achievement (Very Good) | Standard Level of Achievement (Good) | Unacceptable Level of Achievement (Fail) |
Evaluation 1 | The principle of Manufacturing process of materials can be understood, and then the presentation is made when having mastered the related knowledge. | The principle of the manufacturing process of materials can be acquired and understood. | The principle knowledge of Manufacturing process of materials can not be understood, and the fundamental knowledge can not be acquired. |

Teaching Method
Outline:
In order to learn the concepts of the life of materials in the viewpoint of a resource problem, an environmental problem, or an energy problem, the lectures will outline each manufacturing process, which are manufactured from materials to steel, nonferrous-metal, and fine ceramics.
Style:
The class will be advanced in a lecture format, and your grade will be evaluated by the midterm and the final exam.
