Teaching Method

Outline:
To understand the nature of metals, we will learn about metal bonds, covalent bonds, and ionic bonds. Most of the materials used in industrial applications are made by melting and casting.
To understand the equilibrium diagrams of materials, and to learn how microstructures change during the cooling process.
After the midterm test, we will learn the materials testing, such as tension test and hardness test.
Style:
Lecture
Notice:
Can take makeup exam in need aid up to maximum of 50 points.
