In this course students will learn about machining processes for making mechanical products or parts. Students will understand their features, and can select the suitable process and work conditions for the purpose.
Style:
Explain the processes in a lecture format, and deepen their understanding through questions and discussions.
Notice:
Have a habit of thinking about what kind of processing the product is made of our everyday lives.
Can take makeup exam in need aid up to maximum of 50 points.

1st What is machining process? Understand the features of machining processes and can clasify them.
2nd Machining by Lathe Can explain the shape of products and tools used in lathe machining.
3rd Cautions in lathe machining Can explain the cautions in setting and machining on lathe.
4th Machining by milling machine Can explain the shapes machined by milling machine and tools used in the processes.
5th Cautions in milling process Can explain the cautions in setting and machining on milling.
6th Drilling process Can explain the shape of drill and mechanism of drilling.
7th Finishing and tapping for machined hole Can explain the finishing process and tapping process for machined hole.
8th Other machine tools and their processes Can explain the processes of shaping, broaching and hobbing.
