Teaching Method

Outline:
Steel materials are most commonly used as industrial materials. After understanding the Fe-C phase diagram, we will study the relationship between heat treatment and properties of steel materials.
The mechanisms of recovery and recrystallization, which soften into metals, and age hardening, which hardens to metals, will be studied.
Style:
Lecture
Notice:
Can take makeup exam in need aid up to maximum of 50 points.
