Course Objectives

Comprehension of the thoughts of Descartes, Kant, Hegel and Nietzsche about the problem of ‘the correspondence between the subjective knowledge and the object itself’ .
Demonstration of the students’ own opinion about the existence or necessity of ‘truth’ referring to the thoughts of Descartes, Kant, Hegel and Nietzsche.

In this lecture students consider the possibility or impossibility of the ‘truth’ with a review to the modern Western thoughts about the problem of ‘the correspondence between the subjective knowledge and the object itself’ and demonstrate one’s own opinion about these problems.
