Teaching Method

Outline:
In this subject, students will review the contents learned in Fluid Engineering I and II, will show an interest in personal fluid machinery and learn to understand fluid machinery based on equations and laws.
Style:
First, students must understand the principles, structures and characteristics of pumps, blowers, compressors that produce fluids from power, and learn about phenomena such as cavitation and water hammer. Then, students will learn about water turbines, windmills and turbines that derive power from fluids that are drawing attention with natural energy. Finally, students will learn motorized equipment and transport equipment using fluids used in industrial fields.
Notice:
The principles, structures and efficiency of fluid machinery are designed using phenomena and equations learned by fluid engineering. Review what you learned in fluid engineering and incorporate it during the lessons. Also, in order to ensure comprehension, students will be issued a report after class, so please solve the problems and submit them. Lesson plans may be changed according to student’s degree of understanding.
