Assigned Department Objectives

Teaching Method

Outline:
Structural mechanics is one of the basics of mechanics. The course will mainly involve learning the balance of forces, reaction forces and sectional forces for beam and truss.
Style:
Lectures will be conducted mainly using textbooks and board writing.
Notice:
To have an understanding of mathematics. Students must write down in their notebooks the notes on the blackboard. If anything is unclear during the exercises, they must ask questions to have a better understanding during that class hour. Students should review at home, and should not wait until just before the examination to study.
Students who miss 1/3 or more of classes will not be eligible for evaluation.
