This class's objective is to introduce students to English critical thinking, with a strong emphasis on sharing and writing opinions. Through reading, listening and vocabulary exercises, students will have an opportunity to learn about various topics and issues and finally write and share their ideas about these issues. This class will assist students when the take the EIKEN test, and when they write academic papers.
概要:
The aim of this course is introduce students to a number of topics and ideas that will help them formulate their own ideas and opinions, with a focus on them being able to write their ideas in paragraph style. Students will learn vocabulary, reading listening and speaking techniques. This class will assist students when they take the EIKEN test, and when they write academic papers.
授業の進め方・方法:
Classes will be conducted in English and each class will introduce a new topic that the students will read, listen and learn vocabulary associated with the topic, and finally be asked to write their opinion about what they have learned. The main focus will be on writing and sharing opinions.
注意点:
Active participation during classes is expected. Students will be required to write in every class, so as to focus them on what they have learned in each class. Students must bring a dictionary to each class as it is essential for writing.
