This course has the two main parts. First, students are expected to develop their writing skills for summarizing the abstract of their individual researches. Then they will learn presentation skills including designing slides and oral presentations. Finally, students have an oral examination by giving presentation in English.

This course has the two main parts. First, students are expected to develop their writing skills for summarizing the abstract of their individual researches. Then they will learn presentation skills including designing slides and oral presentations. Finally, students have an oral examination by giving presentation in English.
授業の進め方・方法:
In each class students study the structures of academic presentations from various perspectives, so that they can understand how to make a draft and give a presentation more effectively. The evaluation consists of the followings: 70% of the examination (oral presentation) and 30% of homework/short tests and attitude during the class. The score over 60 points out of 100 points (total score) will be valued as a passing grade.
注意点:
Active participation during classes is expected. Students will be required to discuss, think and write about the topics. Attendance is also an important aspect to the students final grade
