教育方法等
概要:
本校専攻科を修了した学生が十分な英語のコミュニケーション能力を備えた国際的なエンジニアになることを目標とする。受講者には科学技術に関連したトピック、そして自身の研究内容について英語で発表することを求める。また、受講者は発表資料の作成を通して、英語での情報収集の方法やスライドの作成方法を身に着ける。
授業の進め方・方法:
文法、単語、日常会話に関する重要なポイントには講義で触れる。
受講者は科学技術・社会問題等に関連したトピックについて短い発表を行う。
発表の後で質疑応答や議論を行うこともある。
また、受講者は自身の研究内容についても発表することが求められる。
事前学習：受講者は予習として発表の準備をする必要がある。
事後学習：発表後に発表の改善点を考えると良い。
成績評価は，授業中の発表で行う。
注意点:
受講者は個人、またはグループで発表の準備を行う。
グループワークや発表では活発な参加が重要である。
受講者は講義後に教科書の内容を復習することが求められる。
※この課目は受講者を二クラスに分割し、少人数で指導する。各クラスごとに英語のレベルや担当教員が異なるため、大まかに同じような学習内容にはなるものの、全く同じ講義を行うわけではない。
※下記の授業計画には理想的な進度を記すが、学生の理解度等を考慮した上で授業内容や課題内容を一部削減・変更する可能性がある。
