概要:
This course is designed to help students build the knowledge of the developmental issues, which is especially necessary for those who want to work for international organizations (e.g., the United Nations, World Bank), Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), private sector development consultancy firms, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) bodies, and research centers.
授業の進め方・方法:
Group presentation and group discussion are the main methods of this class. Before each class, instructor gives each group a topic. Students are requested to search for related information and examples and present their findings in class. There is no final test. Instead, there are two major presentations, each accounts for 60% of the final score. Students who get 60 points or more can pass the class.
