Teaching Method
Outline:
This lecture deal with issues that have been controversial in history and learn different views on them. Through such work, students are trained to think about various social events and express their own opinions.
Style:
Lectures are given based on the handouts and with discussions with the students. Students are charged a reaction paper for each lecture. Students have to research and give presentations on themes of historical interest. Achievement goal 1 to 3 will be achieved by scoring 60% or more (out of 100 points): 80 points for the exams points for the middle and the end of the term, 10 points for the reaction paper, and 10 points for the presentation.
Notice:
Historical studies is not a study of memorization, but a study of thinking. In this lecture, students are asked to think and discuss various topics; and set their own themes, investigate, and give presentations on it. I want students to experience thoroughly investigating and thinking about one thing. The most important thing is to have fun and learn.
