Course Objectives

The goal of this course are to(1)Understand contents and a background of the news reported with a newspaper or TV, and be able to explain them to others definitely.(2)Be able to speak an opinion for oneself about the way of the criminal law.(3)Acquire media literacy and become able to judge it about accuracy of the information, and be able to choose information about a specific matter by oneself.

Outline:
This course introduces contents of the criminal law and the way of choice of the information to students taking this course.
Style:
Your final grade will be calculated according to the following process: Routine test 70%, Remarks and reports in class 30%.To pass, students must earn at least 60 points out of 100.
