概要:
grammar---英文法の重要事項を確認する。
reading---単語・熟語・英文法の知識を有機的に結び付けて英文を読む訓練を行う。
writing---表現力を培う。(この一環でspeakingの練習も行う)
授業の進め方・方法:
授業では教科書およびプリント教材を使用する。主に、科学に関連した読み物を読む。英文と日本語表現との違いなどを講義して研究を遂行できる英語力も育成する。
注意点:
英語力が伸びるか否かは、学生の主体性・教員の情熱・テキストの良さで決まる。まず学生は主体性を持って学習してほしい。英和・和英辞典を持参すること。授業進度によっては他の英語トレーニングも行う。This course includes a total of 15 hours of self-study activities at home before or after class. (Because 1 hour means 45 minutes in this context, you actually need a total of 6.75 hour self-study at home.) Please note that you must complete the take-home assighnments to succefully pass this class. High English proficiency will be yours by virtue of daily continious practice. Good luck.
