到達目標

TOEIC テスト対策用に開発された公式問題集を用いて，TOEIC試験に対応できるための重要文法、語彙、テストテーキングストラテジーを学習し、TOEIC　Listening & Readingテストに対応できる聴解力・読解力・試験対応能力を習得するとともに、実社会で英語を運用する上で必要な知識やスキルを習得することをめざす。具体的には、上記公式問題集を使用して、TOEICの聴解・読解テストのそれぞれに頻出する、語彙、文法、および英文構造を理解するための学習を行うことで、それらに関する学力だけでなく、高次の言語運用能力である文脈把握力・話者の意図や場面展開の類推など，生涯にわたって活かせるような英語コミュニケーション能力の基盤をつくることをめざす。

評価項目2	TOEICのReading・Listeningテストの双方における重要文法・語彙を十分に理解し、聴解・読解に関する十分な学力を備え、文脈把握能力・話者の意図の類推などの総合的な聴解力・読解力も運用できる。コース内で行うTOEICを模したテストの得点と評定点（講義内での態度）の合計点が、90％以上である。	TOEICのReading・Listeningテストにおける重要文法・語彙を理解しており、聴解・読解に関する基礎的な学力を備えている。しかし、「パラグラフ全体を通した理解や、話者の意図の類推が時に難しい」など、聴解力・読解力の総合的な運用に発展の余地がある。コース中に行うTOEICを模したテストの得点率と評定点の得点率は、75％～89％である。	「TOEICのReading・Listeningテストにおける重要語彙・文法で、一部理解で十分でない点がある」など、聴解・読解に関する基礎的な学力を強化する必要がある。また、「長文読解が難しい」など、聴解・読解の運用能力に発展の余地がある。コース内で行うTOEICを模したテストと評定点の得点率は、60％～74％である。	TOEICテストのReading・Listeningテストにおける重要語彙・文法の理解が全般的に十分ではないなど、聴解・読解に関する基礎的な学力・運用能力を習得する必要がある。コース内で行うTOEICを模したテストと評定点の得点率は、60％以下である。

教育方法等

概要:

TOEIC Listening & Readingテストで求められる聴解力・読解力・テストテーキングストラテジーを対象として、英語聴解・読解に関する重要語彙・文法を確認する学習と、公式問題集を使用した実践的な演習を通して、TOEICテストに対応できるための総合的な英語力の習得を目指す。

授業の進め方・方法:

各講義では、指定教材であるTOEIC公式問題集を使用しながら、各講義では、ListeningとReading分野の両方をバランスよく学習する予定である。適宜、関連資料も配布する予定である。評価は、英語に関する能力（基礎的能力・専門的能力・分野横断的能力）と、評定点の2点で行う。まず、英語に関する能力として、基礎的能力・専門的能力・分野横断的能力に関しては、コース内で適宜行うテストと、学期末に行うテストの2種類によって、評価する。評価内容は、基礎的能力（TOEICにおける頻出語彙・基本文法について理解しているか）、専門的能力（TOEICを模したListening・Readingテストで、文脈に即して語彙・文法を理解でき、短めの文章を理解できるか）、分野横断的能力（TOEICを模したListening・Readingテストで、文脈に即して語彙・文法を理解できるだけでなく、長文の英文に関しても文章全体の構造を総合的に把握する能力や、話者の意図や今後の展開も類推できる能力を備えているか）である。また、評定点としては、講義内の態度や、予習や課題が指定された場合の取り組みを評価する。

注意点:

・講義には、辞書、4年生までに使用していた文法書を持参することが好ましい。
本科目の成績は定期試験の成績のみならず、予習・復讐の自学自習の実施状況も考慮して判断される。したがって自学自習の習慣を身に着けることが必要である。
