Course Objectives

Students can understand the principle and schema of the democracy and point out its problems.
Student can understand the establishment process and principles of the Constitution of Japan and point out its problems.
Students can understand the garanteering fundamental human rights, a system of National Diet and a system of Diet election in Japan and point out their problems.
Students can understand the characteristics of the economy in japan as to the family budget, the market and the enterprises and point out their ploblems.

In this lecture the characteristics of the democracy, politics and economy in Japan are investigated. Students will be required to cultivate their understandings and senses of modern Japanese society as citizens.
