Through this course, understanding and experimental skills of the following will be facilitated.
(1) Understand and can explain the fundamental experiments as measurement of gravitational acceleration and Michelson interferometer etc.
(2) Able to fabricate electrical circuits and measure their properties.
(3) Understand the fundamental sequence control technique and can develop basic control systems using ladder diagram.
(4) Understand about electrical drawings, understand correspondence between drafting symbols and actual parts, and be able to make drawings from actual circuits.
(5) Understand names and usage of the tools and be able to carry out electrical wiring.
(6) Understand drawings of electronic circuits and be able to assemble circuits of drawing.
Outline:
Work on fundamental experiments on physics and electronics and write reports on the designated subjects.
Work on drawings for electrical wiring and write reports on subject.
Work on drawings and assembling for basic electronic circuits and write reports on subject.
Style:
In electrical experiment;
Students work on the experimental subjects as a group in which they are divided in advance. They should write the reports individually.
In electrical and electronical engineering practice;
Each student works on the electrical and electronic drawings, carrying out electrical wiring work and assembling electronic circuits. Submit reports and drawings individually.
Notice:
Attend class after reviewing the previous lecture and preparing for the next lesson.
After reading the distributed documents and make questions if you cannot understand the contents. After one student develops the circuits, the other student should check if the connections are correct. When you turn on the power switch, you have to monitor the indicated value carefully. All the students should participate in the experiments. In the experiments, you should check the figures shouwing your measured results.
Credit will be given for this course on a grade of 50 or above.
Students who receive less than 50 points may, upon request, take a supplementary examination. If a student is awarded credit after the supplementary examination, he or she will receive a grade of 50.
