Course Objectives

(1) To acquire Chinese grammar, words, etc. at the semi-intermediate level.
(2) To acquire the ability to perform semi-intermediate level of Chinese-Japanese translation and Japanese-Chinese translation.
(3) To be able to listen to semi-intermediate level Chinese sentences and to answer in Chinese.

Teaching Method

Outline:
(1)Goal
To acquire basic Chinese grammar and vocabulary, etc., acquire the ability to perform semi-intermediate level Chinese-Japanese translation and Japanese-Chinese translation.
(2)Overview
In order to cultivate the ability of Chinese in the four fields of "listening", "speaking", "reading" and "writing", students receive instruction in pronunciation, rhythm and intonation while learning basic grammar and sentences using relatively frequent vocabulary and expressions.
Style:
The lectures on the subjects in the textbook will be focused on, being supported by preparatory study, review and tasks.
Notice:
Students whose evaluation is less than 60 points can take the back-up examination upon request. For those who have been awarded credits as a result of the back-up examination, the score is 60 points.
