Course Objectives

By the end of the course, students will be better able to understand grammar and vocabulary used in the TOEIC test. Also, students will be able to achieve a score around 600 on the TOEIC test.
In addition, students will be able to comprehend reading part of the TOEIC test.

Evaluation 1The student are able to understand grammar and vocabulary used in the TOEIC test. The student are able to understand most grammar and vocabulary used in the TOEIC test. The student cannot understand grammar and vocabulary used in the TOEIC test.
Evaluation 2The students are able to understand the details of listening section in the TOEIC test. The students are able to understand most of the listening section in the TOEIC test. The students cannot understand the listening section in the TOEIC test.

Teaching Method

Outline:
This course aims to help students understand grammar and vocabulary used in the TOEIC test. By the end of the course, students will be able to achieve a score of 350-400 in the TOEIC test.
In addition, the course includes reading practices where the students will be engaged in a variety of reading activities to develop reading skills.
Style:
The instructional emphasis will be on pair work as well as lectures. There will be a lot of interactions between the lecturer and the students, and therefore, active participation is strongly encouraged.
Students are required to prepare for the class in advance and review the materials after the class in order to fully understand the class content.
Notice:
Grading will be based on exams. Students should mark more than 60 on average in order to pass the course. When they fail the course, students are eligible to retake the exam.
