The methods include literature reviews, interviews, questionnaire surveys, and statistic analyses. Students are expected to decide independently on the topic to be explored, under a close consultation with their supervisors. A successful thesis paper contains more or less 30 pages.
Style:
The 'thesis paper' seminar is held once or twice a week, with a small group of three to five students. Students are expected to work very closely with their supervisors. A mid-term presentation in late Octber, students' defence in February, and the final presentation in late February are the requirements for all candidates.
Notice:
Again, the three important events mentioned in Class Format must be completed by all candidates. In addition to these, active and rigorous participations on a daily basis in the seminars are very, very important for a successful performance on the research results, students' defence and the final presentations. That is, papres are evaluated on (1) the appropriateness of a topic selection, (2) adequate literature reviews, (3) necessary researches and data collection, (4) logical ly coherent analyses, (5) objective attitudes to writing, and (6) the originality of a conclusion.
