Teaching Method

Outline:
In this course, you will learn the basics such as terrestrial navigation, navigation signs and hydrographic books while learning the technical terms used in navigation.
Style:
This class consists of lectures and home work.
Notice:
・Required subject (training institute of ship officer) for licensed mariner of 3rd grade (navigation)
  This course is 0.3 credit 「Navigational Signs」, 0.3 credit 「Hydrographic Books」 0.4, credit 「Terrestrial Navigation」 in 15 credits about 「Navigation」.
・Final evaluation (100%) = Regular exam (75%) + Homework (25%)
・The recognition of credit requires 60 points or more rating. A person who has a rating of less than 60 points may be subjected to an approval test by request. As the result of the approval test, the evaluation is made to be 60 points in the person who the mastery of the unit is recognized.
