Course Objectives
By the end of course, students will be able to
(1) understand basic English sentences found in STEP pre-2 grade exam.
(2) express their ideas in simple English.

Assigned Department Objectives
Teaching Method
Outline:
In this course, students will learn basic sentence structures of English, starting from parts of speech and how each part is related to one another to form a sentence.
Also, in practising sentence structures, students will learn how to pronounce English vowels and consonants clearly with intonation.
Style:
In each lesson, students not only have to listen to lectures carefully, but also they have to be in pairs to exchange ideas with each other.
Some of the lectures will be conducted in English.
Notice:
Make sure to bring an English-Japanese dictionary.
Students should mark more than 50 on average in order to pass the course. When they fail the course, students are eligible to retake the exam.
