Course Objectives
Purpose of this practice is to be intimate with marine and obtain seamanship. Students learn works and operations on a ship, communication between ship and land, and importance of teamwork and leadership by handling of small ship called cutter.

This course educate to be intimate with marine and obtain teamwork, leadership, ability of communication and fortitude, which are required of seaman.

Notice:
(1) Navigation course
This course corresponds to 0.2 credit lecture in 16 credit lecture of ship operation which is required to study by the law for ship's officer.
The subjects of the 0.2 credit lecture is ship reporting system in ship operation.
(2) Engine course
This course corresponds to 0.5 credit lecture in 3 credit lecture of general engine operation which is required to study by the law for ship's officer.
This course is conducted considering individual difference in ability of obtaining knowledge and technique by questionnaire survey of this practice.
It is evaluated by exams(70%) and reports(30%).
The recognition of credit requires 60 points or more rating.
