Course Objectives
Ship transport is carried out in more severe environments than other transportation systems, and once a marine accident occurs, it is highly likely that the loss will also contribute to environmental pollution. In order to prevent marine accidents and minimize losses in the event of a marine accident, we will lecture on the technology necessary for the prevention of disasters associated with ship operation, as a common expertise, for all maritime experts, not only for marine crew members but also for all maritime specialists involved in ship operations. The contents of the lecture are mainly the ocean survival technology, the prevention and fire prevention of marine fire, and the fire fighting.

Assigned Department Objectives
Teaching Method
Outline:
We aim to acquire knowledge on basic survival technologies necessary for ship personnel and to establish safety awareness (disaster prevention).
Style:
Teachers alone. In some cases, it is possible to receive support from the Wakamaru Crew and training centers.Lectures will be conducted focusing on the kind of life-saving relationships in the classroom, including lectures, training ships, and training centers.Conduct classes closely related to the offshore lifesaving training course.
Notice:
It is a training course for the training of ship personnel. The navigation course consists of 1 units : Emergency measures, medical treatment, search and rescue, and ship position reporting system. The engine course contains 0.2 units of safety for onboard work. The basic knowledge of lifesaving training is acquired, and it is linked with the lifesaving training using the Wakawakamaru basic knowledge of fire fighting that is linked to fire extinguishing training .
