Teaching Method

Outline:
Advanced course on the history of international relations between Japan and East Asia. We’ll look at the historical outline of China, Korea and Japan about all periods from ancient times to the modern era. Finally, we’ll understand social development through acceptance of advanced culture and technology for present day Japan.
Style:
In this lecture-style course, materials will be distributed at each session, and bibliographies, etc. will be introduced during class. The submission of printed work, impressions of class, etc. will occasionally be requested.
