概要:
総合英語２は講読3時間と英会話1時間から成る、週４時間、２単位の半期授業である。講読は野田が担当し、英会話は１クラスを２つに分け、キムとウッズが担当する。12月にGTEC for Studentsを受験予定。以下、講読は①、英会話は②として表記する。
授業の進め方・方法:
①講読の授業はFundamental Science in English I (成美堂）を使用し、本文を訳読後、各課の課題を解くことを基本とする。Target1200による単語テストを毎時間行ない、指定の範囲内のドリル提出も継続的に課す。英和辞典は必携。
②The conversation class uses Talk Time（Level 3) and focuses on communiation activity using English. The main purpose is for students to build and attain the ability to speak English. Participation of each student is expected in the class and will be evaluated according to their participation. Emphasis on review and practice of what the students have learned can't be stressed enough. Practice is a must.
注意点:
中間、期末試験は講読75点、英会話25点の計100点満点の試験を実施する。
成績算出については、試験を60％とし、、①講読は小テスト12％（Targetの小テスト、GTEC for Studentsの得点等を含む）、ポートフォリオ13％とする。②英会話は小テスト5％、発表5％、ポートフォリオ5％として合算する。
②The practice of English pronunciation, listening, and speaking daily is a must in order to excel in learning a foreign language.
