教育方法等
概要:
総合英語１は講読3時間と英会話1時間から成る、週４時間、２単位の半期授業である。
講読は野田が担当し、英会話は１クラスを２つに分け、キムとウッズが担当する。以下、講読は①、英会話は②として表記する。
海技試験対策として、1・2級海技士はじめての英語指南書（海文堂）を持たせ、自主学習を行わせる。
授業の進め方・方法:
講読の授業はVivid English Communication Ⅲ (第一学習社）を使用し、本文を訳読後、各課の課題を解くことを基本とする。コーパス3000による単語テストを行い、指定の範囲内のドリル提出も継続的に課す。英和辞典は必携。
The conversation class uses BY THE WAY Strategies for Sucessful Conversation and focuses on communiation activity in English.
The main purpose is for students to build and attain the ability to speak English. Participation of each student is expected in the class and will be evaluated according to their participation.
Emphasis on review and practice of what the students have learned can't be stressed enough. Practice is a must.
注意点:
中間、期末試験は講読75点、英会話25点の計100点満点の試験を実施する。
成績算出については、ポートフォリオ（毎時間出される課題）を60点（購読45点、英会話15点）とし、①講読は期末試験を25点に換算し、ポートフォリオ（ノート及びWORK & DRILLの 提出点）5点とする。②英会話は試験を10点に換算し、合算する。
