概要:
【Course Objectives】
The instructor will use the textbook along with printed materials to help students learn vocabulary and technical terms in English related to Electrical and Computer Engineering.
授業の進め方・方法:
【授業方法】
The teacher will take attendance and use the textbook, followed by some active application of the textbook materials on the students own study area.
【学習方法】
Students must bring their textbooks and materials to every class! They should read ahead in the text before the lesson and review afterwards. Learners should actively think about how they can describe the content of their NIT, Maizuru College studies in English. Current events and IT issues in the news should also be studied.

【定期試験の実施方法】
Two tests will be given in the regular class using lesson time.
【成績の評価方法・評価基準】
Evaluation will be based on the goals above. The learners will likely be evaluated based on a mid-term and end-of-semester test and assignment. Two tests will be worth 80%, and assignment 20%.

We hope you enjoy this course and find it rewarding! Computer and electrical engineering is a global field and English is the main language used to communicate between specialists. Whether you go on to more advanced study or gain employment after graduation, you will have more contact with English in the future. You will be required to be flexible and learn how to read and apply written technical materials. Please study from the textbook, keep informed of computer and IT issues, and work at expressing your ideas in English. "Re-learn" some of your studies in English so that you can communicate with Japanese and foreigners and be more successful in your future employment. Good luck and have fun!
