Course Objectives

 (a)Understand the basics and precautions of lathe work and to perform basic turning work.
 (b)Understand the basics and precautions of milling work and perform basic cutting work.
 (c)To disassemble and assemble machines using tools correctly. To understand the correct use of tools and the mechanism of vehicles through disassembly and assembly an automobile.

Teaching Method

Outline:
To become familiar with basic practical and individual work 1. Understand and acquire basic technics through simple work operations. 2. Learn the correct work procedures and develop attitudes and habits to operate the machines safely.3. Develop a habit of dealing with things quantitatively.
Style:
The students are organized into six groups and will carry out practical exercises in rotation. Also, a factory visit will deepen the students' knowledge of production methods.
Notice:
To wear protective equipment correctly, always act responsibly, work safely and listen carefully to the instructor's explanation of the equipment structure, function, and operation, yo handle the machines and tools correctly.
Students who miss 1/3 or more of classes will not be eligible for evaluation.
