Assigned Department Objectives

Teaching Method

Outline:
Students will learn experiment methods to determine the physical and strength properties of construction materials, and understand the properties of each material from the experiment results.
Style:
This course will be conducted by several faculty members in practical trainings style.
Conduct experiments, and reports will be assigned for each theme. For each report assignment, set up an objective, collect materials as appropriate, and make observations of the results.
The overall evaluation will be based on 80% on report evaluations, and 20% on attitude toward class activities. The minimum score for a pass will be 60%.
In cases where reports are inadequate, they must be re-submitted or not submitted. or will be given less than 60 points f for their evaluation.
Notice:
Experiment reports must be submitted by the specified due date.
Students must wear clothing (laboratory attire) and shoes (running shoes) that are appropriate for experiments.
Students who miss 1/5 or more of classes will not be eligible for evaluation.
