Course Objectives
(1)To design a town hall, rationally organize the flow lines of various people, zoning of different functional spaces, and acquire skills to structure a complex architectural space.
(2)To design a collective housing building, with private, semi-private, semi-public, and public spaces, where the residents can know each other and have a sense of belonging to the area.
(3)To design considering the zoning, the site and neighboring area, and scenery.
(4) To develop the ability to express a proposal content for architectural design in clear Japanese, and respond to questions and other opinions.
(5)To make the various architectural drawings using CAD software.

Assigned Department Objectives
Teaching Method
Outline:
To learn about the social impact and development process of architecture and space. The instructors will support the process of learning that narrows down the direction of design that each student deems desirable based on various information. Akio Kamiya is the founder of Akio Kamiya Architectural Laboratory and has been engaged in architectural design for 32 years.
Style:
At each stage of the design, show precisely how to think to create good architecture.
Notice:
From daily life, students are expected to heighten their interest in various topics in the field of architecture. To proactively experience site and visit architectural buildings. Learn methods and attitudes effective in architectural design, as well as develop an independent opinion. Students attendance is required, and only a maximum of 5 absences is excused.
