Course Objectives


(1) To constructively promote the research or the ability to design a building. Comprehensively and systematically understand and use the wide variety of disciplines learned during the five years' architecture course.
(2) To the student, voluntary commitment to a determine research theme and under the guidance of the orienting professor conduct experiments, field survey, design, and bibliographical survey.
(3)To develop appropriate communication skills, to handle discussions with faculty, and do a presentation under an examination committee.
(4) To do theoretical and practical considerations about technical problems with originality solving skills.

Teaching Method

Outline:
The contents and methods of the graduate study are wide-ranging, it can be elaborated on the form of a dissertation and research about a specific topic or as a set of drawing, hand drawn or computer added to explain an architectural project proposal. Together with the set of drawings, the project proposals should also have a dissertation explaining the main points and concept of the design. The evaluation of the students is subject of the double peer-review carried by all teachers of the Architecture Department. Students will present the research and be evaluated by a committee of faculties.
Style:
In accordance with the chosen theme the students will conduct literature research, fieldwork, experiments, the creation of drawings, organize materials and information.
Notice:
Under the guidance of the orienting professor, the students will do research. Voluntary commitment is required. The students should create a weekly record of the research.
