This course aims to encourage students to express their thoughts related to various social issues as well as to develop listening, speaking, reading and writing skills needed to discuss in English fluently.
本講義では、英語で流暢に話し合うために必要なリスニング、スピーキング、リーディング、ライティングスキルを伸ばし、様々な社会問題に関する考えを述べる力を養うことを目的とする。

概要:
This course serves as an practical communicative classes for students to develop English language skills needed to discuss social issues by using audiovisual materials. At the beginning of each class, a special dictation practice is served.
授業の進め方・方法:
This course is centered on a lecture, and some oral presentations with question and answer session. The contents and schedule are as shown below.
注意点:
Students are required to review for the assigned part of handouts for each class and to prepare presentation slides and scripts about current social issues.
学修単位の履修上の注意
事前学習：英単語調べはもちろん、各章の問題を「提出用ノート」に解答しておき、充実させたノートを提出できるようにしておく。
事後展開学習：授業中に作成した「板書用ノート」をみながら、復習し、クイズやテストに備える。
