Course Objectives

1. To learn the attitude of trying to communicate actively in English, and to be able to understand and tell about oneself and things concerned.
2. To master the grammar and syntax vocabulary of the level directed in the high school guidelines and use them for English expression.
3. To read English aloud correctly.
4. To express yourself in English based on the contents of study.
5. To raise the skill of performance in English and utilize self-evaluation to make improvements for further study.

Course outline: The students learn in order of the contents and grammar of a textbook, and perform the expressive activities of speaking and writing. Moreover, the students improve their skills and the ability to self-evaluate.
Style:
Course method : In the class, students are encouraged to participate in a variety of activities, such as reading aloud and expressive activities in pairs and groups, as well as understanding the content of the material. Students will also work on improving their skills and self-evaluation.
Grade evaluation method: The results of the four regular examinations will be evaluated equally (50%). The final grade will be based on the sum of "performance assessment of the exercises, oral reading and expression tests, and self-assessment" (50%). The final grade will be calculated by converting the average of the four grades into 90% and adding 10% of the result of the GTEC writing part. Re-takes of the GTEC writing part are not allowed in principle.

Foundational subjects: English up to junior high school English I (1 year) 
Attendance advice: Students are expected to speak up and participate in activities. Tardiness: Arriving late to class after 5 minutes of class will be considered as a missed class. The student comes late frequently, he or she will be counted as an absence.
