Course Objectives

Learning purposes : Through activities in Japan and abroad, develop a sense of internationalism, tolerance for different cultures, and an attitude of interacting with people of different languages and those involved in international exchange activities.

Course Objectives :To be able to strive for cross-cultural understanding through domestic and international activities centered on learning English and other foreign languages, and be able to interact with cross-language personnel and people engaged in international exchange activities on a daily basis.

The main goal of learning / education in this class is "(B) B-2".

Course outline :
Students will participate in language training programs overseas approved by the school and international exchange activities organized by the school to accumulate practical experience in domestic and international exchange. The language training programs approved by the school include "Language Training in Canada" and "High School Experience in New Zealand (2W)", etc. The international exchange activities include "Global Leader Development School", "After School English", and "Designated Student Ambassador Activities". Other programs may be added during the course of the year. In addition, students who plan their own international exchange activities and receive approval from their academic advisor are also eligible.
Style:
Course method : At the beginning of the school year, the student will draw up an activity plan with the advice of his/her academic advisor, submit the annual plan to his/her academic advisor, and implement the plan. The activity plan should mainly consist of participation in international exchange activities organized by the school, and should be at least 30 hours per year. When participating in overseas language training, students will be required to complete required training and reports before and after the training. Students will be required to write a report before and after participating in each exchange activity.

Grade evaluation method : Students will be evaluated on the basis of their academic plan, reports before and after the course, and their efforts in language training and exchange activities abroad. Grades will be based on pass/fail.

Course advice : Be proactive in your own efforts. Also, when planning, carefully check the approved time for each activity, and make sure that the total time exceeds 30 hours. As a preparatory study, please research the contents of each activity and gather relevant knowledge and information.

Foundational subjects : English, social studies, and Japanese up to junior high school. English, social studies, and Japanese at our school.

Attendance advice : The purpose of this course is to help students acquire credits and develop a mindset to be active in the international community. We hope that you will be actively involved in this program.
