Course Objectives

Learning purposes : Students will confirm their knowledge of English and communication skills by passing Test in Practical English Proficiency.

Course outline :
In today's world where international communication skills are in high demand, it is necessary for students to learn English not only by being taught at school, but also through independent study.
Style:
Course method : In this course, students study independently according to their abilities, mainly by practicing questions for Test in Practical English Proficiency under the guidance of the instructor. For the second examination, students who wish to take the examination will be given personal interview guidance.


Grade evaluation method : Students who have achieved Eiken Grade Pre-2 must notify the instructor in charge and apply for credit to the Educational Affairs Committee by the separately instructed date and time during the academic year. The Academic Affairs Committee will deliberate on the matter, and if credit is granted, the grade will be "Pass".
Notice:
Precautions on the enrollment :Students must submit an application for elective courses by the designated date. In addition, this course is a qualifying course, and students must apply for credit in order to receive credit. Note that if you submit an application for both English Test I and English Test II, and if you meet the requirements for English Test II, English Test I will also be approved. The number of credits that can be approved by the Educational Affairs Committee for elective courses is 4 credits or less for general courses.

Course advice : As a preparatory study, the students are required to take the basic English courses and need to study on their own and encounter many problems.

Attendance advice : Students need to pass the first round of written and listening tests of Test in Practical English Proficiency, and then pass the second round of interview tests (reading and speaking). The test is held three times a year and can be taken at venues in Tsuyama City.
