Course Objectives

1. To acquire an attitude of trying to communicate in English.
2. To understand standard pronunciation, imitate the sound, and understand the relationship between spelling, sound, and stress.
3. To be able to write basic essays, like GTEC essays, using proper grammar.
4. To understand and use new vocabulary for basic conversations and writing essays.
5. ◎ To be able to use speaking skills, description, charts and so on for communication.

Class outline: After learning vocabulary, pronunciation, and grammar through study of English passages in the textbook, listening and speaking activities are conducted. In addition, students write essays in English on a regular basis.

Class method: We perform learning activities with the aim of improving all four skills (speaking, reading, writing, and listening).

Precautions on the enrollment: This course is required to be taken in order to complete the course of the academic year.
