Course outline :
In order to acquire the operational ability of Chinese, lectures, conversation practice, confirmation tests, etc. are performed. In the lecture, we will introduce the traditional culture of China and the situation of modern society.
Style:
Course method :
Use texts to give lectures and training. As a general rule, a small test is performed every hour. In addition to grammar and sentence types, there will also be a focus on listening, pronunciation practice, and cultural introduction.
Grade evaluation method :
Evaluated by regular examination (70%) + mini test (10%) + oral examination at the time of class (10%) + assignment report (10%). However, the assignment report can be substituted by participating in training in China or Taiwan sponsored by our school and other technical colleges.
Notice:
Precautions on the enrollment :
Students must take this class (no more than one-third of the required number of class hours missed) and earn the credit in order to complete the 4th year course. This is a class that requires study outside of class hours. A total of 45 hours of study is required per credit, including both class time and study outside class time. Follow the instructions of the instructor regarding study outside of class hours.
Course advice :
Review the contents and establish knowledge for the next class. Chinese is difficult to pronounce, so
Listen to the attached CD repeatedly and often. Always make an effort to get interested in China. You may buy a dictionary, if not obligatory.

Attendance advice :
If you are late for the start time, you will be treated as absent after 20 minutes.
If you are absent, submit a notification of absence or official notification of absence. If there is no notification of absence, the mini test of the week will be 0 points.
Submit assignments on time.
Try to improve your thinking and expressiveness by reviewing and practicing various sentences on a daily basis.
Use of a dictionary on a mobile phone or smartphone during classes is not allowed
