Outline:
This is a Japanese language class for international students in their second year.
By studying Japanese language at the mid-intermediate to advanced levels, students will refine their Japanese language skills to be able to engage in linguistic activities at the discourse level, rather than just interacting in a fixed pattern.
Style:
The class follows the textbook, but other supplementary materials (such as problem books and newspaper and Internet articles) are used as needed to consolidate students' knowledge and operational skills. Students will also have time to research the topic, summarize their ideas, present them, and exchange their opinions. Through repeated practice in output, students will also develop their presentation skills in Japanese, which will be needed in the future.
We hope that students will make efforts to improve their Japanese language skills, but we also hope that they will take an interest in Japanese language and culture in their classes.
Notice:
The textbook and course content may be changed depending on the student's situation.
The results of the first and second semester exams (80%), assignments (10%), and attendance (10%) will determine the overall evaluation.
A score of 60 or more is considered a passing grade, and the student will be required to retake the exam if necessary.
