Course Objectives

Purposes of learning: Pass the mechanical design engineer test level 3 and acquire basic items related to mechanical design.

Objectives of Course:
1. Pass the mechanical design engineer level 3 test (Kikai sekkei gijutsusya 3 kyu).
2. Understand the basics of each subject related to mechanical design in a well-balanced manner.

Course outline : Students set a goal of passing the mechanical design engineer of level 3. They are explained the basic matters about the subjects of mechanical engineering, adviced how to learn, and given guidance on the examination procedure and adviced to pass the examination.
Style:
Course method : Students will study independently according to their abilities, focusing on exercises.

Grade evaluation method :
Students who have passed the Mechanical Design Engineer Level 3 Exam will report to the instructor in charge and apply for credits to the Academic Affairs Section by the final day of the year-end exam.
The Academic Affairs Committee deliberates on credit recognition and evaluates it based on the pass / fail of the examination.

Precautions on the enrollment :
Of the elective courses (excluding voluntary study courses), the number of credits recognized by the Academic Affairs Committee is 6 credits or less (4 credits or less for general courses) including off-campus training A or B for specialized courses.
