Teaching Method
Outline:
英語４技能のうち，本授業では特に「読む」「聞く」を向上させる。
「読む」については，教科書の音読と精読を通して読解力の育成をはかるとともに，「英文の構造」「段落の構成」「英文の論理展開」などを意識しながら教科書内容に関連した語彙や表現を習得することを目的とする。また速読演習を通して，スキミング（文章全体を素早く読み通してその趣旨をつかむこと）およびスキャニング（ある特定の情報を探しながら文章を読むこと）の能力を向上させる。
「聞く」については，リスニング演習を通し，理解する処理速度を高めるとともに，背景知識や文法知識を利用して聞き取れなかった部分を正しく推測して補完できる能力の育成を目指す。

単語テスト（速読英単語 入門編），速読演習（Mileage Reader 4），教科書の音読および精読
・各単元が終了した次時の授業
単元末テスト，Workbookの提出
