教育方法等

概要:
This course provides students with foundational knowledge and practical skills related to information technology, including computer hardware and software basics, networking principles, problem-solving methods, and fundamental programming concepts. Students will also learn about data science, artificial intelligence basics, information security, and effective communication through digital media.
授業の進め方・方法:
The course employs a blended teaching approach, combining interactive lectures, hands-on practical sessions, collaborative projects, and individual assignments. Students will frequently engage in group discussions, workshops, and presentations to encourage active participation and deepen their understanding of course material. Emphasis is placed on practical application through exercises using software tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as introductory programming environments. At the end of the course, students will present their projects, demonstrating their acquired skills and knowledge in practical scenarios.
注意点:
Information literacy is a very important tool for engineers to use on a daily basis. In contrast, hardware and software are ever-evolving, so it is necessary to constantly acquire new knowledge and techniques. For this reason, students must become proficient in reading, understanding, and utilizing manuals. Since only a part of information literacy is covered in class, students are encouraged to study on their own initiative and acquire the habit of applying the acquired knowledge.
