This class is designed to help students become skilled, strategic readers who enjoy reading in English.
With a textbook that offers high-interest, level-appropriate and authentic content, this class serves as springboards for reading skills development, vocabulary building, and thought-provoking discussions and writing.
授業の進め方・方法:
Students are required to preview each chapter using the Pre-reading Preparation section of the textbook. In class, students will analyze the content, understand information organization, recall and summarize the information. As a review of each chapter, students will be assigned to respond personally to the topic and write a paragraph or paragraphs on a provided theme . Homework and quizzes will be assigned via ICT, thus students should be prepared.

2. Students will be alert and actively participate in the class.
3. Students will take small tests during the term. The scores are counted as grade.
