教育方法等

概要:
This class aims to improve both English fluency and accuracy. We will use a sentence diagramming approach that focuses on technical English vocabulary and allows students to practice speaking and presentation skills. Through this practice, we will improve our English fluency, accuracy, and confidence. Regular testing, as well as group work and mini-presentations, will help ensure progress. その際にはクリティカルシンキング力を向上させるために、深く考え、自身の意見を持つための訓練を率先して行う。'
授業の進め方・方法:
Through the use of the textbook, group work, mini-presentations, and testing, students will have many chances to improve their English accuracy and fluency. And understand how to apply critical thinking in English.
注意点:
We will have 4 tests (1 each quarter). Each test will count for 25% of your score and will cover all materials presented up to that point in class (tests are cumulative). You may substitute your TOEIC test score for any one of the other test scores (TOEIC Test Score divided by 5 with a 100 point maximum). If you wish to take advantage of this last option you need to present your official TOEIC test score sheet before the last day of class. You may not substitute your TOEIC score for a ZERO. All tests MUST be taken.
