概要:
This subject - Technical English 2 will provide students with basic skills required for technical communication. The focus will be on enhancing the students' skill in the areas of speaking, writing and presentation. Students will learn how to write a research summary and to prepare a presentation materials and use techniques to deliver an effictive speech.
授業の進め方・方法:
The students will learn basic formal and technical speaking and writing skills, and oral presentation skills.
特別時間割期間におけるシンガポール・テマセクポリテクニックの外国人講師による集中講義を行う．講義１８時間，予習・演習２７時間，計４５時間．
評価方法:
Writing: 20%, Speaking:20%, Presentation: 30%, Reflection report: 30%.
注意点:
・Students will be expected to write a research summary.
・Students will be expected to prepare presentation materials.
・Students will be expected to give a 3 min oral presentation.
・Students will write a reflection report of what they have learnt in the subject.
