到達目標

1. Students are required to write an abstract of their own research using appropriate English expression based on proper grammar.
2. Students are required to make presentation slides of their own research based on acquired knowledge of presentation slides making, and to give a presentation using slides.
3. Students are required to acquire basic skills and knowledge about effective technical presentation.
4. Students are encouraged to make a presentation about their own research outside campus or to take English proficiency tests for certain scores.

教育方法等

概要:

Based on skills and knowledge acuired through English subjects so far, classes are basically about communication in English to develop basic skills required for international communication for "global" engineers.

授業の進め方・方法:

Classes are basically carried out through the trainings about making English abstracts and presentation slides to explain students' ideas of their own research, about presentation to tell contents and students' ideas of their research. Students are also encouraged to take English proficiency tests or make a presentation outside campus to prove their English communication competence.

注意点:

All students are required to complete all the activities required and strongly recommended to get a certain score or degree of English proficience test or make a presentation outside campus this year. Any question or comment is always welcome either in person, Teams chat, or via email. Students are encouraged to make an appointment before directly visiting professor's office.
Before the Class :All students are required to read the contents of the designated sections of the textbook as instructed by the instructor and submit assignments as necessary.
After the Class: All students are expected to review what they have learned in the session, using feedback from the instructor and other sources.
