Course Objectives

This subject is aimed at German learning beginners. The goal is to acquire basic rules of grammar
such as how to use German articles and personal pronouns.
The students are required to increase the basic vocabulary and learn to read simple texts by using
their dictionaries.

Teaching Method

Outline:
This subject is aimed at German learning beginners. Their goal is to acquire basic rules of grammar
related to German articles and personal pronouns etc.
Style:
The class is conducted based on the textbook. Stundents' understanding are examined by use of
mid-term and end-term exams as well as assigments. Their comprehensive evaluation is performed
in light of the two exams (70 points alloted), the assignments (20 points alloted) and class participation (10 points alloted). Those who get 60 points and more can pass the course.
Notice:
・ Don't forget to bring your dictionary. The acts hindering the progress of lessons such as chattering are subject to deduction of points.
・ The abesence due to job hunting and university entrance exams is not subject to authority absence.
