Course Objectives

1. To display accurate comprehension by using the knowledge of a paragraph structure.
2. To learn to express in writing logically and academically by using the knowledge of a paragraph structure.
3. To improve grammatical accuracy for the TOEIC listening and reading test.

Teaching Method

Outline:
In addition to helping students pay attention to the history and philosophy of several contemporary companies, the course aims at developing accurate comprehension and academic writing on the part of students. It will also enhance grammatical accuracy as well as technical vocabulary power for the TOEIC listening and reading test.
Style:
Students are expected to actively engage in all aspects of the classroom activities. The class opens up with dictation activities; after that, they are to engage in understanding the passage used for the dictation activities through answering the questions. Finally, they work on checking their answers for the TOEIC grammar exercises in pairs and in whole class.
Notice:
Over 60 points will be the criteria for obtaining credits. Otherwise, students are allowed to take a make-up test on request.
